Want to turn off bluetooth audio and play through aux cable

I have a droid x and a blueant q1 bluetooth. This am I updated the firmware and I can play my music through the bluetooth - which is awesome when I am taking walks, but when I plug it in through the aux cable in my car I don't want it routed to my BT. Is there anyway to turn that feature off without turning the BT off?

Is there anyway to turn that feature off without turning the BT off?

My wife has my aux cable with her in the car. I haven't been able to check this out yet on my D2 but chances are that if it's doing it to you it will do it to me as well. I was wondering how that would work. That's a bummer.
