vzw vbrmf1 s3 rooted, still can't do root stuff ; (

Bogus Exception

New Member
To a stock vzw rom, I just rooted with bootchain for sch-i535. I have apps that check for root, they say yes.

But, for example, running LBE I can't run the app filtering service. Droidwall seems to work, not thoroughly tested.

But to do something like install f-droid apk, the stock apk installer is ALWAYS called, and while the 'install'button is there, it cannot be clicked.

Obviously, vzw is fighting back. ..

Any ideas? Is there an apk installer that can run as root as not always call the stock one? Is there another way?

TIA!
