VZAccess Manager Install issues

What's up all? New to the forum with a brand new Incredible. Had it for maybe 2 hours now and already have several apps downloaded.

The phones great but the one problem I'm having is getting the CD to install. I get almost all the way through it and it says there's an error. Tried restarting the laptop as well and no use. Any suggestions?

Ran it again to see the error and it read exactly like this

Error 2738.Could not access VBScript run time for custom action.

Do you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed?

Nope. Haven't had it on this computer at all. I looked it up and a few others have had the same problem. I followed all the deletion and registry steps and nothing. Thinking I'll just do a full reformat on my laptop. It'll annoy me that somethings not working if I don't

Yeah Its a known error with Blackberry Desktop Manager to throw that error code. I am sorry that didn't help.

Fixed it. Got pissed off with the laptop last night so I just completely reformatted it with only the programs I wanted. Runs much faster and HTC sync and VZAccess both work now.
