Volume Plus Settings

I purchased Volume plus for my Nexus today to see if there is a difference. Those of you that are using Volume Plus what are your settings to improve the speaker volume and sound?

Ok it is done now what do I set my setting to? What do you have yours set to for your Speaker?

I set mine to +7 if you go too high the sound actually gets muffled and quieter, atleast on my device it does. That's for my speaker settings, I didn't adjust the others.

I do not have MusicFX in my Apps...

Go to settings > applications and click all at the top. Scroll down and you'll see it. It comes preloaded. From there you can click disable.

I'm running my speaker volume at +10 for notifications. Still working on getting the right headset volume.

What is the difference between disabling musicFX under settings apps versus choosing volume+ in settings/sound/music effects and checking Volume+ there?

Not sure, some people just reported that they couldn't tell a difference with volume+ until they disabled musicFX.

When messing with your settings, stream Pandora or some music so that you can actually hear the difference. I actually have mine set to +9 with some adjustments to the equalizer. Note: Make sure the Speaker Modification boxes REMAIN checked otherwise the adjustments made aren't recognized. Headset settings are usually lower. I have mine at +3.

I have the paid version and mine is set to 12+ and sounds clear and amazing.

The music Fx doesn't need to be disabled, works just fine. As one stated he has his on 7 and beyond that it gets quiet. Well there's a bug and sometimes u need to go n there and go from 7 to 8, then 8 to 9, then 9 to 10 and so onto the volume u want. If u go from volume 7 to say 12, sometimes it won't work right and gets quite but if u slowly raise it its fine. It did this the first few days for me cause I was letting the battery die all the way and after a restart volume+ will act up but if ur phone is on constantly u should not run into any problems as I have not.

Or the "paid" version from the developers web site who actually gives it away if you want it for free. Of course paying for it supports the developer and gets you easy updates from the market. :)
