Voice Activated Contacts List

Anyone know how to get the voice activated function to recognize my contacts? I double click the home key and the voice activated function pops up but it is not seeing any of my contacts ("no valid contacts stored").

Any ideas?

I have rooted Droid so my experience may be different. Tap meun, tap settings, tap search, tap searchable items. Make sure that contacts is checked.

Appreciate the effort. Double checked and that setting is right but still no dice

Sorry, I do not have any other suggestions. Hopefully, another Pro user will be able to provide the correct process.

Are your contacts listed in your gmail account?

Update for the group:

Good news: The device now recognizes my contacts.
Bad news: I didn't change any settings or make any other obvious changes. It just started working.

I think this is a software glitch.
