Vling's Safe Reader in car dock

I have a moto Droid 1 running Froyo. I would like to launch "Safe Reader" when I put it into a car dock. "Safe Reader" is a service that comes with Vlingo. It is not an App. It reads incoming texts out loud. I now have to manually start it by pressing an icon. I have not found a way to start a service based on if it is in the car dock. Anything I have found only launches apps.

Any thoughts?

Same here. Hopefully there is. I'd love to use Vlingo instead of the regular Car Home.

Just saw that you found "Launching Apps." I don't mind engaging Safe Reader manually. Any way you could link me to a few of those launching apps?
