I'm new to the forums, so please forgive me and point me in the right direction if this is in the wrong spot.

I'm a teacher, and our disctrict uses a web (java-based) gradebook that can supposedly be accessed on smartphones. When I go to the website on my droid, it says I don't have java installed. I've done some searching on the internet, and can't seem to find the solution (except to accept that my phone can't read java pages.) Is there an app that will allow me to access this?

Thanks!

Java isn't yet supported/available via the browsers yet. There is an app in the market called Java/J2ME that allows you to go to websites but it does not work for me (but I'm rooted and running a cooked ROM so your results may vary).

Skyfire is working on an Android browser. That should allow you to access just about anything when it comes out.

Thank you. I'll have to check out J2ME, and hope the other browser comes out soon.
