Video Recorder for DroidX, other formats possible

I am looking for a video recorder application that i can use to record videos in either AVI or normal video formats that i can easily send out without haven to convert from 3gp format to other. Please someone help me out, it gets ould not being able to send a video cause other users can't play them,

Why can't others view them? 3GP is the standard for mobile, and it plays fine on Windows Media Player, and most other players for PC. I can't speak for MAC, but I would imagine that it would play fine there also.

It wont play on Palm Pre, keeps locking up. thats one phone.
