Video Phone App

There is also Tango.

It works great, but....

1. It automatically hijacks your contacts (Skype gives you the option).
2. No way to sign out of the app.
3. Removing the app does not cancel your account, and there's no easy way to cancel your account without jumping through hoops.
4. Some people complained about spam being sent to the account holder and their contacts, although I didn't experience this myself.

Google Talk or Skype are much better options IMO.

My wife and I just use the gtalk video chat. Works great for us and no need to download anything extra.

Sent from my DROID RAZR using Xparent Purple Tapatalk

Thanks everyone. Tried Google Talk, works great and didn't even know it was already on the phone. dancedroid

I have used Skype before to talk to a friend in El Savador and it worked great, he was using a laptop. I wanted to try using Google Talk with my wife, she has a Droid Pro. I guess though that you can not start a call for someone that does not have a front facing camera? I was hoping to just do a one way kind of thing, I need to get her a new phone.

My wife has a LG Lucid and Google Talk has been working great for us. dancedroid
