Love the car, not the plates...Make it really fast, then rock those plates lol. I mean, they are relatively fast, but make it nasty then rock plates like that. Nice car man.
4.6s 0-60. That's pretty fast. Not a whole ton of cars can claim that stock, so that's really fast in my books. It's not as fast as my 03 Z06, but even then, only by about 8/10ths of a second. Besides, it's a carry over plate from another car.

Going to have some exhaust work done tomorrow and next week.

Matt my friend that is one bad vehicle! Please do yourself a favor -- with that plate and color, when driving, wear your dress uniform so when the fellow holding the radar gun sees you are serving he may be forgiving!:)

Mike
Hehe, the police in a military town don't give a feck about service lol

It will be nice tomorrow to see the car without those terrible and enormous stock mufflers on the back. I'm having the mufflers deleted tomorrow...then having the rear cat converter removed (the o2 sensors are BEFORE the second cat, it's not even monitored ), the H pipe converted to an X pipe, and then straight pipes the rest of the way. Waiting on the Magnaflow X pipe though.

Absolutely beautiful car! I'd love to have one of those. I've actually been considering a CTS-V for a new "family car". Especially with the manual transmission. Would love the new one, but economy isn't allowing for it and there seem to be some great deals on the last generation CTS-V. How did you like yours? Would you recommend it?

I liked it enough, not much for four door cars. But nice. And fast.

Yeah, the 4 door is the main reason I could justify it since we have a G6 convertible and a Chevrolet Avalanche non-Tupperware edition. About the only way I could pull off another two door would be to land the new Camaro when the convertible comes out, but honestly, I've gotten spoiled on hard top convertibles and not sure I could do a ragtop.

nice car:icon_eek: your gonna have to post pics with the new exhaust.. car is wicked fast from stock.. planning any engine mods?

So far just what I described plus maybe a CAI. I've got other more important financial obligations right now. So maybe in a bit.

I've been thinking about getting a new camaro. Have a whole fleet of fast cars, no need to really mention em, and I've been thinking about adding a camaro, they seem like great cars for their cost and most everyone loves em. ha. I just cannot see them handling too well though; i feel like they run similar to a vette, lots of hp and great in a straight line but throw in some turns and its in the dust. Haven't driven a camaro yet though so not the slightest clue, ha. What would you say?

Its not bad, you realize how well the vette handles? I had an 03 z06 and it was amazing

Lol I have never found a vette too handle too well... Had plenty of track days with them and never really been a big fan, love the car and its a fine race car, as long as the track isnt too twisty... haha. But it could be because I'm spoiled with cars that handle phenomenally lol
