Vibrating

I have my droid set in vibrate and it doesn't vibrate when I get a text or notification.. why??

You have to turn on the vibration for txting. It's in the settings.

What should the setings be? I put it on vibrate always. Silent mode off. Then put the volume all the way down to vibrate. It still doesn't do it.

i just went into my texting settings and vibrate always opt.

Are you absolutely sure it isn't vibrating? This thing hardly shakes at all.

Im holding it in my hands with those settings on sleep and it int shows a green might with any notification

+1. Even though you have it set to vibrate in your sound settings you also need to go into your text app settings and check the box to vibrate as well.

I'm having the same problem... I have vibrate checked in the text messaging settings, but the phone still doesn't vibrate when I receive a message. It was working totally fine until a few days ago, and now it has just stopped. It still vibrates for everything else, but I have it set to both ring and vibrate for incoming texts and that's not working anymore. I asked the same question over on AndroidForums so I'll keep this page bookmarked and if I get an answer there I'll post it here.
