Vibrate only when sounds off

When I set my phone vibrate I want ALL off my notifications to vibrate. I know by checking the vibrate box for the specific applications I can turn it on, but this also makes the apps vibrate when the sound is up.

Is there a way to vibrate JUST when the sound is off?

Not that I'm aware of. For email, calendar, SMS, etc that have their own notification options, those options are what they are. Other applications can surpress those notifications, but otherwise can't control them.

I have the same issue: i want my email to vibrate to only vibrate when the ringer is off/muted, but not all the time, but every dev I have emailed says the way things are, they cannot control notifications of individual programs.
