Vibrate on sms message

Is my droid bionic not suposed to vibrate when set on vibrate for sms messages or am i just missing something

Go to your text message screen click menu then scroll down and go ne check vibrate

I'm having the same problem. I have vibrate set to "Always" and it will vibrate on calls but not sms. It's set to vibrate in the text messaging app too. I had goSMS installed and it worked with that app too. It used to work, what changed I don't know.
