Vibrate not working properly

I have my phone set to vibrate on key pad touch, alarm and ringer. A couple of weeks ago the vibrate function started acting up. I will start texting and after a couple of letters it stops vibrating. My alarm was set only to vibrate and there were a couple of times it didn't vibrate so I overslept. My phone is less than a year old. How can this be fixed?

I do have a few questions to help you as nest as I can with this issue.

First off what phone is this. Has it been dropped before it started acting up? Has it gotten wet. Or have you recently changed any settings in your phone or downloaded a app that may change some system settings.?

My phone is a regular DROID RAZR. I am very careful with my phone so i don't remember it being dropped and I haven't changed any settings. Just one day it started acting up.

Well i went to Verizon today, they are going to replace my phone :icon_ banana:
