notifications for texts

I want to know why my notifications for text messages suddenly stopped working i got it to start vibrating but still no sound they are on I checked and I went to messages and settings to be sure they are on

Where in settings did you check? You have to go into the text settings to make sure they are working properly. Maybe it is set on silent in the ring tones.

Check your sound settings in the settings menu. Volume "use ringtone volume for notification volume."
