Am I missing something with this update?

I have 2.3.15 right now. I go to System Updates and it tells me the phone is up-to-date. Which it isn't. Is there a staggered automatic release for the update depending on circumstances of the phone? I would like the update to remove the problems I've been having with some of the apps.

Anybody have any ideas?

Not to sound rude, but I've read this same q on a lot of the forums here. If you read some more you'd get the answer.
But, to answer your question and get another post count, ill chime in

It's typically released in iterations, these phones today, those tom. etc. Don't know the formula for it, but know it's done in packages. They may release it on the site and let people do it themselves too. Anyways, im waiting too. Im looking forward to it, as im not rooted or running roms.

Thats fine I was just wondering if the releases were staggered. I looked around and didn't see anything on the posts. Guess I didn't look hard enough.
