We have some exciting news for Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus users. Verizon just announced that the Android 4.1/Jelly Bean (JRO03O) OTA update is inbound for the phone. It's only available via a WIFi update right now, so keep that in mind and turn your WiFi on before you rush to grab in manually. The update clocks in at 145MB and includes a number of improvements beyond just the amazing Jelly Bean goodness. Enjoy!

Thanks for the tip, tgyberg!

What are the differences between this one and the one that was leaked a couple months ago? Is it worth it to go back?

Well at least now the JB ROM community should be improving features vastly. :) This is pretty awesome! I'm waiting for a warranty replacement Nexus right now though, until Monday. Figures! Oh well, I have been running JB ROMs since they started being first developed anyways.

Now the timing of the update makes me wonder if they were deliberately waiting for the iPhone 5 to be released....
