Verizon's/Motorola's 1 Year Manufacturer Warranty

Hi!

Well, I recently installed UD 3.2 and for some reason my Droid's touch screen doesn't respond to anything now. I'm not going to blame the ROM, as UD has been very good to me for quite some time.

My question today is would it be possible for me to take my phone to Verizon and have them replace it under the 1 year warranty? I didn't purchase any extended warranty, but I'm pretty sure I bought my phone June, 2010. So it still has warranty.

Only problem is I don't have a receipt... or I lost it. I bought it at Best Buy so I might be able to go back and get a reprint.

Any thoughts?

Well, I got it solved. If anyone else wants to know...

I just went to my local Verizon store and we went to a computer and they pretty much ordered me a replacement phone that should arrive via FedEx in two days. I'll just have to send the other one back with a prepaid package.

No need for receipt, you're in the system.

Don't forget to unroot it before you return it
