Verizon run around

My son is getting big around from Verizon. He is on his 5th ! Droidx. Has nothing but problems with this thing ! And EVERY TIME, their answer is to send him a replacement, not a DIFFERENT model, but same one. This is getting BEYOND silly. This latest one the camera won't work, txt messages are sporadic, and powers off by itself !!!!!.

If they insist on another replacement make sure he asks for a new phone and not a refurbished one, they keep sending him phones that have been returned already because of issues. If they refuse to guarantee a new phone as a replacement, demand to cancel his contract with no ETF, FCC rules allow that. After demanding that they will typically cave and either give a new phone of upgrade the model to the X2.

You have to be persistent and attempt to escalate. It's not easy because too many people have abused warranty and insurance as a way to upgrade.
