Verizon- Note 4 pre-orders ship Oct 23, but available in stores Oct 23

Is this correct?
I was just told most Verizon stores will have the Note 4 in store for sale on Oct 23, but if you pre-ordered it will ship Oct 23 with most orders taking 2 business days to arrive Oct 27th.

Yes The Stores will Have it on the 23rd!!! In the past people got their preorders the day before the release or the day of.

Thats a bunch of crap....Why pre-order if thats the case? I was hoping it might ship early since I have seen that happen often.

As of 8:30PM MST Sunday, the Verizon web site says "Will ship by 10/23".

Usually in past releases, pre-orders ship before the actual release date so that they would arrive on release day. Some reported that with the T-Mobile Note 4 pre-orders, they received theirs before 10/17, as much as 2 days before. I have seen this in the past with Verizon pre-orders too. Right now, I have no reason to think the phone will not be delivered on 10/23. I am just annoyed they changed the release date from the 17th to the 23rd.

I don't even mind if it doesn't come until Friday. I might even settle for Saturday, but I'm looking forward to setting it up & playing with it & was hoping to do so over the weekend. If I don't see it until Monday, I could've just gone to the store when I get back in town.

I was charged for my Note 4 pre order today(full price) When I originally ordered they told me it would ship soon after being charged when i pre ordered it. Post shipping date when I get it.

Hope going with the edge plan doesn't make mine take longer. Just stopped by a best buy mobile for the second time in this trip to see it. Girlfriend is getting tired of seeing it... Haha

They did that last year and like some preorders arrived the day before and others on the day of. I would not be too concerned.

Vito Check the status of your pre-order. Check and see if your bank account has been charged. People I know Status changed and bank accounts debited for the GNote4. Some had a Tracking Number saying it has been shipped!
