I am going to Canada tomorrow.

I am just curious as to how my Verizon Motorola droid will work there.

The last time I traveled out of the country, I had my blackberry. Which is a "world" phone. I had no problems getting data.

Will my Motorola droid work fine? will I still have Data connection (GPS, email, etc)

Or should I switch to my blackberry for the weekend?

Thanks a lot

It will work, but the data roaming fee is 1.99/meg. Calls are expensive too but not insane like the data.

Check with Verizon, they have a plan so that you can use your Droid in places like Canada and you can cancel it upon your return. It's much cheaper then paying the roaming rates. Give them a call.
