Verizon insurance replacement still OG?

My wife likes to repeatedly drop her OG droid. Well, it has finally been killed dead. Will insurance replacement be the 2 or 3 or will they still give her an OG? I ask because the deductible is 100 and I can get one on ebay from a trusted seller for 60... so insurance would be more expensive than the replacement.

I know it's been awhile but I had mine replaced in August and got sent a refurbished OG.

Go ahead and get the one off EBay and save 40 bucks. D1 >>> D2. And they almost certainly won't give you a D3.

I had to get my Droid x replaced and they gave me a brand new Droid x2 for a replacement because they ran out of Droid x's.

I would call just to see what they will give you.
