I went to my local Verizon store to purchase a Galaxy Note 7. I was told they are on back order. Had him search all Verizon stores in surrounding areas none. So I will have to wait until September 11th for it to get delivered to my house! [emoji35] [emoji35] [emoji35]

@jstafford1 and I drove to Austin last Saturday to get our Note 7's... I called all of the corporate stores on the east side of Austin and found a CSR that agreed to hold two phones for us. [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4][emoji4]... @Preach2k it's a great phone you will be very pleased!

Yeah, you should've ordered it directly from the VZW website, you would've gotten it within two days. Hang in there Preach!

DO NOT ORDER FROM SAMSUNG DIRECTLY.

I ordered my Verizon Black Note 7 from Samsung.com since I'm not a verizon customer and the samsung website said it would ship within a week.

I ordered it on the 8/20, was immediately placed on back order, and have heard nothing from them since. I'm trying to contact them by email because its a bitter pill to swallow seeing people order phones a week after me and receive theirs before I even get a shipping notification.

According to Engadget, Sammy stopped shipment of all Note 7s until they can verify whether or not recent reports of the device's battery catching fire were isolated incidents, or something more serious with the chargers.
