Verizon Droid 1 Supplies

Was wondering if anyone has recently gone in to replace their Droid 1 through insurance/warranty? I remember a post a long time ago that said that the supplies for the D1 were running out and that you might be upgraded to the DX or D2 at this point. I called Verizon a few months ago and they said that supplies were getting pretty low.

Had mine replaced at my local VZW store in under 2 minutes last month.

My local store was out so they over-nighted me one...Droid 1
It was just as messed up as the one being replaced (so much for rigorous testing) and they are over-nighting another. Should have it today. I'll post up the results later.

My girlfriends sisters ex huband got upgraded to a d2 when his d1 crapped out on him, but then again he is a kinda a **** so I am not sure if that is true or not.

Well the 2nd replacement just got here...Droid 1 but it seems like at least this one is in perfect shape.
