Verizon Dock doesn't charge

I took my Droid off of my Verizon dock this morning and battery was at 30%. No apps running as far as I know. Put it on regular charger and charged up in normal time. Any ideas? I like the idea of the dock, but want it to chargte phone overnight...

On several occassions I have realized that phone was not fully seated in the dock. Magnet changes the screen and leads you to believe all is well, but you must be sure it is fully connected!!:lifting:

Thanks for replies. I'll check to be sure that it is all the way in, as I recall the screen was lit so maybe I didn't have it pushed in all the way. Should the screen go off after awhile if it is pushed in all the way?

the pre loaded program for the dock keeps it on ... that is why it has the dimmer button as a feature...
