Verizon Data Plans - Hotspot Question

Hello, I did a search and didn't find anything, so I apologize if this is a repeat. With the new data plans coming out, they say we are grandfathered in as long as we don't change our plans. I've always had the hotspot on my phone since it I got, but once they came out with the 4G, now it's free on my phone (Charge) until after the new data plans kick in, which means after it ends, I'll have to add it. Does that mean I'll be on the new data plans?

You will still have the unlimited data for your device. It will be grandfathered in. The hotshot will be an extra $20 for 2GB on your monthly bill. Hotshot pricing has been changed at this point.

I just asked someone about that. They said the hotspot plan is independent of the data conditions and you'll be fine. Won't affect the grandfathering program.
