Question about 3G/4G plans??

Now my question is as you can see the 4G and 3G pricing are the same its 29.99 unlimited now if we are on a 29.99 unlimited 3G plan now and they switch to a tier plans now if a went out and got a new 4G phone would i still be grandfathered in where i have a 3G data package now or is the 4G a whole different plan setup. where the new phones are run the 4G would someone have to switch there data plan or could you just replace the phone on the account and be good to go?

I had to reread your sentence a few times. It was a bit confusing. I think you're asking that since you have unl. 3G now, will you be grandfathered into unl. 4G AFTER tiers start? The short answer is No. When you purchase a subsidized 4G phone, you sign a new updated contract with the current price plans/tiers. I'm not clear how this will work if you choose to purchase a 4G phone retail tho...
