Verizon Billing charges

Ok - I live in Chandler, Az.. I reviewed this month's bill & there is a charge for Mesa City Tran Priv Sur on Tel of $.63. WTF is that? Mesa is about 20 miles from where I live & I have never even lived in Mesa. Does anyone know what the Chandler rate is for this? If it's cheaper, I'll going to complain - otherwise i'm going to keep my mouth shut.

Yes, I am in the same county but they have the county tax as well. There is a city (the city which i've never lived in before), county, and state tax. My question is for the city tax, that's why I'm asking about the "city" tax.

I have seen city taxes on bills extending well outside of the city before but you may want to take it up with your carrier. Most of those "taxes" are pretty stupid in the first place if you ask me.
