Verizon 3G speed test results, Lets Compare?

I swear about a month ago when I last ran a speed test on the 3G network I had over a 2Mbps download rate. Today after seeing the thread below I decided to test again, Holy crap this is some slow performance.

For me:

NYC
.52Mbps down
.10MBps up

DC
.41Mbps down
.23MBps up

Atlanta
.55Mbps down
.35MBps up

I live in the Northeast.

I keep trying NYC and getting between .5 - 1.1MBps down. An improvement, but the average is still around .45 - .65 Down.

.37 Up

Meh

Testing with San diego server:
.22 Down
.58 Up

Double Meh

And since when is the upspeed commonly higher then the DL speed??:blink:

That is pretty whacky to say the least. Maybe you had been downloading something at the time?

No, nothing. My Speeds are all whacked out and slow as hell compared to everyone else as well.

I'd say so!

Vero Beach, Florida (kinda rural if you don't know where it is)

Down: 1.5-1.6Mbps
Up: approx. 512kbps

In the wee hours when no one's really on the network:

Down: 2.1Mbps
Up: approx. 620kbps

Pretty Impressive for 3G
