Using WiFI Hotspot - Connected with Limited Activity

Hi all...

Im trying to use the WiFi Hotspot on Droid3. The laptop is connecting, but showing limited connectivity or "local only", so its essentially
useless.

Is this a problem with the app, or the laptop? I have used it to connect to other networks without a hitch. Advice?

Plus one on foxfi. Never had an issue using it

I have had similar issues while connecting other smart phone to my hotspot
