using widgets with launcher pro

my wife has an INC 2 and she wanted me to install launcher pro as a home screen replacement...now she cannot use the HTC widgets on her homescreens...I have an X2 with launcher pro also and I can use my original motorola widgets still....is this a problem with her phone or is this just how it is?

That's just how it is, unfortunately. I wish HTC would take that page out of Moto's book and allow their widgets on other launchers.
