Using voice dialing

Using the voice dialing is a great feature, however you have to use the phone to activate it. Is there anyway you can speak into the phone and have it dial your call and accept the number you want without pusing the OK button? I want to hike with my droid in my backpack and use my bodyglove to listen to music and talk on my phone and don't want to take it out whenevery I need to place a call.
