Using Daydream in the dock

So I have the Clock Plus app.

I have turned on Daydream and set Clock plus to the app that comes on either docked or charging.

But when I put my Maxx in the dock the Clock comes on Not Clock Plus.

I have to manually go tap on the screen to load clock plus and then all is well...

Any ideas ????
