Using bluetooth and droid 2

On my d1 my moto s805 dj style headphones would pause, track forward and back, and hold to rewind. Droid 2 no such luck. But I remember I would loose these functions if I dl another music player to replace the stock. Is it possible the blaotware is in my way or am I just SOL?

I just tried it with my SD9 headphones and I was able to pause, and switch tracks up and down. Didn't try rewind or fast forward.
