USB to PC withHDDock

Got my hd dock set up at work and noticed that it doesn't work with my pc. I. I unplug the cable from the dock and then directly into the phone, it charges and i get mass storage.

Is the HD dock compatible with the USB cable?

No. I cannot use the hd dock connected to the usb port of a pc.

Is this the dock that has a HDMI port so you can connect it to a monitor and use webtop (or whatever it's called?)

There are 2 docks. One is hdmi and the other has some additional ports for keyboard, flashdrive and such.

Mine is just hdmi. No pc support with the dock. I spent 50 bucks for a charging stand. I feel stupid.
