Have had a Droid X for a couple of weeks -- and have just noticed that the USB notification icon seems to have disappeared.
Any thoughts on how to get this to reappear?
One thought -- recently installed and then uninstalled "tether" from tether.com. This is the only app I've played with that I would expect to touch the USB connection.
Last time I saw the icon, I switched to PC mode, thinking that this might solve a problem I was having with tether (never did get it to work). USB cable was unplugged without changing the setting back to charge-only -- another thread indicated that this might have corrupted data on an SD card. Could this have caused my problem?
