USB mass storage not working after flashing JB 4.1 rom

I recently flashed a JB rom to my Eris, yes JB 4.1 on the Eris ! ,whenever i try to
connect to USB mass storage it wont connect,it brings up the box to click to turn
the storage on but doesn't turn on .
