USB Drives Question

I'm an X owner but my wife has the incredible. Question: when I plug the phone into the pc via usb I see two separate drives? I never partitioned the card so I'm wondering if that is normal for HTC devices.

One is the SD card and the other is phone storage. My inc is the same way
