USB Connection

Every time I connect my Droid with the computer it starts downloading all the data from the phone. Is there a way to stop this? I'm using windows Vista and have my phone set up for tethering with PDAnet. Thanks

Do you mean it is opening a folder showing the contents of the SD card? If so, that is because you have USB Mode set to either PC Mode or USB Mass Storage Mode. Next time you connect via USB, once the phone is fully done mounting the SD Card, pull down on the Notification Bar and tap USB Connection, then change it Charge Only...then it wont happen anymore until you change it again..
