Upgrade is coming soon

So I've had my Droid 1 rooted with various ROMs on it since I got it. My 2 year contract is about to be up in a couple months and I'm looking at the phones available.

So far any of the new Moto Droids are nixed due to the locked bootloader. Not really thrilled with the Samsung Galaxy phones. I'm looking at the HTC Thunderbolt. Does anyone have any suggestions or good/bad experiences with the Thunderbolt to sway me either way?

You could also wait for the Incredible 2.

If you have to ask, that means you're not in love with anything out. You don't need to upgrade right away. Put Liquid Gingerbread 1.42 on your Droid and keep it until something comes out you really like. With LGB, my Droid runs better than a lot of new phones.

That's a good point, maybe I'll just wait until the next round is out. The Thunderbolt is awfully tempting but after reading their board it sounds like it was rushed and kinda buggy with the hardware. I haven't seen anything on the Inc2

Oh, and who put out Liquid Gingerbread? I've been running CM7. Is it on Rom manager?
