Upgrade around Christmas time, help choosing a phone!

What's up guys,

Well, as the title says, I have an upgrade in December, and I know a lot of carriers like to offer promos around that time. I'm on Verizon.

I was looking to get the LG Nexus....until I found out its going to T-Mobile. I have the Bionic right now, so I wanna stay away from Motorola devices. I also want to see some other devices than the Samsung GS3.

So what does that leave me for options around December?

Galaxy Note isn't for me lol may take a look at the HTC though. Is that really all of the line up for this year?

-Edit I HOPE that the HTC DLX doesn't turn out to have a 5 inch display.

Those are only two new releases I can think of. Everyone seems to be slowing down to the one a year pace google has set with the nexus devices.
I think the dlx is going to be a phablet so that the note 2 will have some competition because the lg intuition is a catastrophic failure in my opinion

Yea I'm staying away from phablets lol I actually looked up some info and saw that the LG Spectrum 2 is coming out. How's LG now?

Might wanna make this thread again at the end of next month. Maybe some companies are coming out with another phone before year's end and phones now probably won't be priced the same in December thanks to Holiday specials.

As for LG, I've tried many of their products including phones and was greatly disappointed in their quality so to this day I stay away from them like the plague. My family went through about 5 or 6 LG phones (the old enV models) and they swore never to buy LG again. Had they had listen to me beforehand they wouldn't have gone through all that stress and wasted time.

I think I will lol I know usually there's speculation and rumors start coming out around 1 or 2 months before a phone releases so I thought it was worth a shot.
That's the same thing I thought, I remember when they came out with their first LTE phone and other phones around the same time, and all were met with negative reviews. But its been like 2 years? Since then, and seeing as Google chose LG to carry their Nexus 4, it seemed like they began to get something right.
