What to do?? New phone time

I currently have a rooted Samsung Fascinate on Verizon and to say the least, I hate it. My upgrade is ready 2 week of July which is right around the corner, I've had my eye on the Droid Bionic but it's taking so long to come out my hopes have ran out to actually have it release. I live in an area that has 4g but I'll moving away to college in a couple months and 4g will not be there for a LONG time. So 4g would be nice but it's not a necessity for me. I am open all android OS phones. Let me know what you guys think! Thanks

List out your priorities and decide based on them. It's a call that you need to make. If I was set on a device I wouldn't settle but you may be very different from me. That said, however, I don't shop based on rumors either for precisely the reason you've pointed out. Delays can and do happen during development and being disappointed isn't a hobby of mine.

Also, you don't have to upgrade as soon as your upgrade is available despite what people apparently seem to think.

It will release. Moto said the other day it's going thru more updates (hopefully the final updates). Could be as soon as end of July, or late as September... but it is coming!

Have you considered purchasing a used... something else... on Ebay if your Fascinate is that intolerable? The DX is a lovely phone!

Unless you NEED the latest and greatest, I would get:

The Incredible 2
Droid 2Global
Droid 2
Droid X

They are all good prices and are probably the best for the price.

Thats a little more expensive, and I have heard several people having issues with it.
On paper its a great phone, but do some research first to see some problems it has been having.
