Updating apps

Am somewhat embarrassed to have to ask this question. Have looked on the Net and in forums and can't seem to find the answer.
I had a notification that some of my apps on the Droid could be updated. I could not download the updates at the time I received the notification and now the notification is gone. I no longer know which applications can be updated and how to do it.
How do I determine the applications that can be updated?
Thanks.

Current Phone Model

Goto the Market, Hit Menu, Then Downloads. All your downloaded apps will be shown, any that have updates will be marked as so.

Go to marketplace and hit the menu button (2nd button from the left along the bottom). Then choose "Downloads". You will see your list of apps and those needing updates will be at the top and flagged for you.
