Updated to .232 ics and Can't Text

Everything is working fine on ics but I cant use any sms apps or the stock sms. If i recieve a text, my screen blacks out and i have to pull the battery :/. Any ideas?

Did you wipe the cache partition when you upgraded? If not, then you might want to do that.

I did, using the 1tap cleaner. Would a factory reset help at this point? Or should I just revert to GB?

You could also try backing up your messages with sms backup & restore, then through manage apps, clear the data for the default text messaging app. It's possible that you have too many messages stored and it is just bogging down the app. A factory restore could work too, but it's best to use that as a last effort.

YOu might want to clear the data, uninstall and reinstall the app.
