Updated from class 2 to class 6, now troubles with new card

Updated from stock Sandisk MicroSD class 2 to Ridata class 6, then just buttons light

First I tried transferring everything from my old SD card to the new SD card, popping it in...

After a while just the four buttons on the bottom light up, nothing on the screen, no ding sound when hooking it up to the USB computer out.

Formatted the card, transferred everything from old SD card to new one when in the phone, worked a bit longer...then the same thing happened.

Am I doing something wrong here??

From everything I've read, the X works best with a Class 4 card, and has issues with faster cards. My 16gb card is a Class 4, and there are no issues with it whatsoever...
