Update version 2.2 for Galaxy S - Fascinate

Any word on the supposed update that's coming out today? My girlfriend has a Fascinate, but no update on hers yet.

Permission Denied in Terminal Emulator
Need a little help... I used the "do root" process to root my Droix X. It told me you are rooted, i have my super user in the app drawer and am able to use wi fi tether, titanium backup, adfree..... When i go into terminal emulator and enter "su" it says PERMISSION DENIED. Can someone please help..... Thanks in advance.

My wife has a droid X, and now as of today I have a droid X. Any more questions? I have also posted in other forums about the droid X asking for a little help. I have domed and themed her X. Would you also like my Verizon acc# to check, and my complaint calls to scamscum?

After a quick underclock ur battery life is matched but I'm still running like a hummingbird
Im excited for 2.2. But its nothing to quit over. I'm happy with the fascinate. X is a good phone too, just not what I need in a phone

You know seriously as much as it burns my soul that I have the only new phone to not have froyo I look at my friends evo and just think wow this screen just looks totally washed out and simply because the fascinate had such a beautiful display I can't bring myself to switch.tho I doubt I will ever EVER run froyo.

This is my first android phone. I did lots if research before picking this phone and its never disappointed me. A while back had HTC touch pro and that would be dead before lunch. Blackberry tour after that lasted about 2 days. This one far beyond those. And unrooted and no 2.2 yet, doing those should extend battery even more

As much as it annoys me that we are waiting for a froyo update, do you really think samsung cares now that verizon already purchased the phone from them? Samsung already made their money. Why would they care if you tried to sell your phone on craigslist to buy a droid? Verizon is happy if you want to by another phone at retail price. Think about it, who really loses here? Certainly not Verizon or Samsung.
