Update halted?

My wife's fully stock S3 has not gotten the recent update. I know I can hunt around and side load it. But since it seems to have issues and doesn't offer anything she really needs I may just let it go.

Anyone seen any indication they stopped the rollout?

I've not seen anything about it being halted. Ill ask around tomorrow.

Are you on VZW or AT&T, because the only recent updating I've seen has been on VZW. No update for my AT&T S3 either.

VZW and Samsung have pulled the update (I've read this in other forums, don't have direct connections) due to the laundry list of issues caused by the MB3 radios not functioning well. Samsung claims they're working a fix but will not give any indication on a release date for either the fix or a whole new build that would then presumably replace this entire update (whether you were affected originally or not). Take it from a VERY disgruntled VZW customer, count your blessings that you didn't get the update and embrace how awesome your S3 is!!! Nothing even remotely worth dealing with any of these issues in the update at all.

Yea, glad she didn't get it. It's her first smart phone and she is loving it. Appreciate the info.

the update downloaded to my replacement a week ago. i have to keep putting it off for a few days....its annoying

is there a way to delete the update so it doesnt keep asking me to install every few days?
