My biggest complaint...apps that I uninstalled via the Market and reinstalled manually to avoid update nags (Shazam for example) are all back...in all their nagging glory.

You can use Titanium to break Market links and stop the nags, too.

UD 2.4, downloaded on computer and transfered to phone. Used "update" instead of "install", after reboot not one FC, all is working fine.

Dumb question but the pics I see all show T-Mobile as the provider but I assume that these Market apk's are not carrier specific, correct? The carrier will brand it accordingly and then allow access to their section of the market with carrier specific apps, correct?

The version in post #82 is the one I have on my Verizon Droid, and it has Verizon's apps. Not sure if this is due to programming in the app, or if it's checks the carrier.

Looks like you're running VZW, D1 & BBv0.5 which is exactly the setup I am running. What was your method of install? ROM Manager or did you just rename the current one to .backup and then install or ??
