anyone use their tool to update recovery.

I keep getting hungup on waiting for hboot.
I tried as others suggested and got rid of htc sync didn't help as they said it would work first shot with that gone.

I can manually push the update but it wont retain it when I do it manually.

Any suggestions on this ?

Did you install the bootloader driver that came with the program?

it came in the zip I thought I just put it in my sdk/tools folder and overwrote the old one ?

You need to install it manually, I found a website earlier at work today that walked you through it but now I cant find it for some reason.

yeah when I answered you

I was working on a friends N1, just rooted it and put 2.2 on it for him
he's like it blazing fast just got 1395 on quadrant. I get that all day I told him on my moto droid, but he says he never broke 1200 on it before 2.2.

Im glad he's happy took like 2-3 hours only done 1 N1 before was totally different this time.

was easier than we thought had an issue getting recovery to flash.
