Unresponsive

So a few times a day, my screen goes unresponsive. The only way to unfreeze it is to turn the screen off, back on, unlock phone, and it all works great after that. Seems that it happens everytime I bragging and showing off the phone. Really annoying. Any thoughts?

If you have gestures enabled try disabling them and see if that helps. I've read that helped on the Note8 if/when it had the same problem.

My wife's phone became unresponsive yesterday evening. Screen blacked out, none of the buttons worked. Had to do a battery pull to restart the phone. The funny thing is the same thing happened to my Note 2 yesterday morning.

Does anyone know what the button sequence is to force a restart on the phone?

Isn't it funny how that works? When a phone is flawless until you actually need it to perform....

Three hard resets later, problem is miraculously fixed. Only problem is I no longer have the Samsung App store and Samsung says they can't fix that.
